Academy Projects

Madinatulilm Academy proudly presents its activities. Duroos from basic level of Muqadamat upto Dars-e-Kharij are held here in line with Hauza Ilmia Qum & Najaf. Dars-e-Kharij is a dars of research (Ijtehad) that makes a student Researcher (Mujtahid). Dars-e-Kharij in Indo-Pak is taught only at two places, one at Jamiatul Muntazar Lahore in which Sheikh Hafiz Riaz Hussain Najafi takes that dars and second here at Madinatulilm Acadmey by Sheikh Ali Nasir Mehdavi (Founder of Madinatulilm Academy).

Besides this, Madinatulilm Academy also functions in different areas, which are as follows.

Duroos (Muqadamat to Dars-e-Kharij)
Dars are held in Madinatulilm Academy from basic level of Muqadamat upto Dars-e-Kharij (Usool & Fiqh) which are given by Sheikh Ali Nasir Mehdavi. Dars-e-Kharij means an institution of making students a Researcher (Mujtahid), where we prepare students to be able to do research (Ijtehad) in future.

Book Library
In book library we have more than 2000 books on different topics, especially books related to Ilm-e-deen & Ijtehad. Books are also issued on membership basis to students.

CD Library
CDs of all duroos including Asfaar (Philosophy), Bidaya tul Hikmah, Sharh-e-Tajreed (Aqaeed) are available at our CDs library. At many times to fulfill the teacher’s unavailability, different Madaris and students from all over the world get benefit from these CDs. Now all durus data has been transferred to our online Hauza Dars  section for students’ facility.

Ladies Madarsa
In Ladies Madressa we have introduced 4 years program in which they are given dars on Fiqh, Ethics, History, Aqaid, Tajweed, Speech Practice, Usool, Arabic Grammer, Spirituality (Irfan), etc including Usool-e-Fiqh and Sharh-e-Lum’a. After four years program, students are motivated to take admission in Iran’s Madressa for higher education. For more details, go to Ladies Madarsa page.

Ladies Hifz-e-Quran
For Ladies, Allhamdolillah we have started the program of Hifz-e-Quran also, which is progressing forward with great success. For more details, go to Ladies Madarsa  page.

QnA on website (answers to Fiqhi questions)
In our QnA section, you can ask questions regarding Fiqh and other daily life problems to Sheikh Ali Nasir Mehdavi, where people from all over the world send their questions. Answers are sent to their email address and also posted on website in video format for the benefit of other people.

Sending Zakireen for preaching (Tablighat)
Besides sending Ulema and Zakireen to different parts of Karachi and other areas of Pakistan for preaching, especially in the month of Ramazan & Moharram, they are also sent to Sindh, Punjab, Gilgit, Baltistan and Baluchistan throughout the year. With in Karachi the chain of preaching in ladies and gents in Madaris & Quran Centers continues throughout the year.

Establishing Academy branches (Makli-Satharja-Layya)
Academy’s role has been pivotal in opening branches at Makli, Satharja, Layya. Throughout the year, the administrators of these branches keep contact with Sheikh Ali Nasir Mehdavi to discuss their current situation.

Mahafil-o-Majalis on Islamic events
Jashan and Majalis are arranged on the occasions of Wiladat and Shahadat of Masoomeen a.s. Other than that Ashra-e-Moharram and Ramzan Duroos are also arranged.

Publications (Sharh-e-Mukhtasar-ul-Maani)
Mukhtasar ul Ma’ani (book of Fasahat-o-Balaghat), from which Quran being a miracle can be understood, has been translated in Urdu language, based on lectures of Sheikh Ali Nasir Mehdavi given at Qum. We are trying to bring all those lectures in book form. First Volume has already been published while work on second volume is under progress.

Giving monthly stipend (Shehria) to students
Academy students are provided with monthly stipend (Shehria) to cover their daily expenses. This stipend is based on their eductation level. Minimum level is Rs. 1500/- for beginners and highest level is Rs. 6000/- for Dars-e-Kharij students.

There is a hostel facility for students coming from far areas of Karachi, Sindh, Punjab & Gilgit Baltistan to stay where meal is also provided. They get benefited from Books Library and Computer Lab facilities as well. There is a system of self study and group discussion on daily basis. They also participate in Namaz-e-Jama’at and Dua programs.

Computer Lab
In our computer lab, we have provided our students with 8 high specs PCs for listening of Durus. All the basic & important books of Fiqh, Aqaid, Tafseer, Hadith, Akhlakiat, Irfan and other topics are available in pdf format for study and research in Urdu, Persion and Arabic languages. Students are also encouraged to do their own research from Noor & Shamela softwares and their notable writings are published by Academy.

Answers to religious problems (after Magriben)
Daily after Namaz e Maghriben, one hour is fixed for answers to Fiqhi Masael and doing Istikhara. For this purpose you can visit Academy personally or call us on given telephone numbers.

Speech Practice for students (every Friday)
All students are given speech practice time on Friday in order to groom them for delivering effective speeches in society.

Helping Needy & Desrving people
We help the needy and deserving people in the form of cash, ration and necessary items (when resources are available), especially to flood and earth quake affected people. And also  for those whom there is no one to look after like widows, orphans, person in severe illness, disabled person or families where man is involved in wrong practices.
